I Adopted Two New Guinea Pigs!

I adopted two new guinea pigs today!
Its national adoption weekend, so I went down to good ol' Petco and had a look around. My mom said she wouldn't take me because she knows she can't resist little animals (except for rats). But, she obliged and we saw a pair of guinea pigs, the short haired sand-colored Sandy and the long-haired Aubrey. We adopted them and now they're at home with our first guinea pig, Eleesia (She has a facebook as Eleesia Pig).

At first, they sniffed eachother and walked around shyly, but then they started bonding. For some reason, Aubrey and Eleesia fought a little, but they're still OK with eachother.

Guinea pigs are the best!

Ahh.... Braces, Homework, and School Oh My!

After a pleasant mid-winter break, we are back at school with homework....
I recently (yesterday) got braces, and they may not be as bad as they sound, but they still suck. Eating is a great difficulty, especially for a meat lover like me. BTW, brace wearers, if you're teeth hurt Ibuprophen is extremely helpful!

AN INTRODUCTION TO A GREAT GAME:

I absolutely love the Mario&Luigi RPG 3: Bowser's Inside Story.

I would reccomend it for ANYONE, if you're an old time Mario player, this game is great for you. New players? Its a great way to get introduced to Mario & Co.

Mario & Luigi RPG 3 is full of interesting puns and classic humorous jokes. For those who ae retro players..... "A WINNER IS YOU!!!!"

The Characters:
Mario & Luigi: Required for all Mario fans to be satisified....actually, we only need Mario (but we still love you Luigi!). Mario, the braver brother, is known as the Red Cap with the Stash' and Luigi is known as.... "Oh, and Luigi is here too..."

Starlow: A perky, sarcasm loving star sprite that absolutely loves teasing Luigi and pretending to be others. Starlow: "Oh! Of course you could defeat those aliens as a baby Mario! You're amazing!"
*Luigi sighs and sits on the ground, drawing in the dust.
Starlow also tends to say "HELLO YELLO!"

Bowser: The most persistent enemy of all time. He's good at kidnapping for sure, he's kidnapped Princess Toadstool (Peach) tons of times, but he sucks at keeping her. "I HATE MARIO!!!!!!!!!!!"

Fawful: Introduced in Mario and Luigi RPG 1, he is most definitely the best villain to ever exist. He uses....unique.... vocabulary and grammar and has a much better sense of taste/humor than Bowser. "Beef? Fawful is lacking in beef. Fawful is beefless."

Midbus: A pink, pig monster that is Fawful's loyal protector. He is muscular, has a skull tattoo, and breaths steam out of his nose. The perfect rival of Bowser....
"NOW YOU SLEEP!!!!!!!!"

This fine mid-winter break is going quite nicely, with little homework for us RJH Questies. I am partcularily enjoying sleeping in, you?

National History Day Project Finished! finally.....

The ones out thre who are participating in NHD, I applaud you, for it is a great ccomplishment and difficult goal to achieve (trust me, I would know). For those of you who didn't I am seriously ashamed. Even though I didn't want to participate in NHD, Mrs. Jensen has been visciously beaten around with complaints and such. Doing NHD is better than just joining that Facebook group that supports Mrs. Jensen. NHD shows that we support her teaching directly. Also, we get to skip a day of school for an exciting day of awards and cool projects. So that's something to look forward to.

By the way, this may seem nerdy, mainly because it is, but it's pretty dang cool.
I work with Legos ( I know some of you out there do too)!
And I am proud of it.
I purchase somewhat expensive custom lego-compatible accessories for my minifigs (that are amazing). Varying from simply weaponry to "Space Marine Armor" (AKA MLJONIR Armor from the Halo series. Imagine Master Chief in your head).

Or even better, have all the papers for yor gaming system?
There should be a code on one sheet of the papers for Club Nintendo. I am a serious fan.
Serial numbers for each system are on the bottom (for both Wii and DS).

On the otherhand, I discovered that broken slate can hurt. A lot.
Mrs. Town gave me a small piece, bout the size of your thumb, since it had broken off a larger piece of slate. NOT A GOOD IDEA TO PUT IN ONE'S POCKET WHEN YOU STICK YOUR ANDS IN THEM ALL THE TIME. ouch......
